Coolpad, the lesser-known Chinese smartphone maker, has just launched the new Coolpad Grand View 40 Pro. It is a mid-range smartphone that offers good performance, thanks to MediaTek's Dimension 900 processor, and adopts a 6,58 inch 120Hz screen.

The Coolpad Grand View 40 Pro comes with a glass and metal body, with a slim bezel and a notch for the front 16 megapixel camerathat screen from 6,58 inches he has one FHD+ resolution (2408 x 1080 pixels) and supports 120Hz refresh rate, for greater fluidity in animations and games. The screen also supports the DCI-P3 color gamut, for greater color fidelity, and has 2048 levels of dimming, to adapt to different ambient light conditions.
Under the body, the Grand View 40 Pro hides the Dimension 900 processor, the MediaTek chip made with a 6-nanometer production process. The Dimension 900 is an octa-core processor, consisting of two 78GHz Cortex-A2,4 cores and six 55GHz Cortex-A2,0 cores, flanked by a Mali-G68 MC4 GPU. The processor also supports dual SIM 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
As for the photographic sector, the Grand View 40 Pro mounts a triple rear camera, with a main sensor from 50 megapixel for night scenes, a 8 megapixel wide angle sensor and a 2 megapixel macro sensor. The camera supports night mode, portrait mode, landscape mode, and 4K 30fps video recording.
The battery of the Coolpad Grand View 40 Pro has a capacity of 4500 mAh and supports the 33W fast charging, which allows you to recharge the phone from 0 to 60% in about half an hour.
The Grand View 40 Pro is already on sale in China, priced at 2999 yuan (about 390 euros) for the 6GB + 128GB version and 3299 yuan (about 430 euros) for the 8GB + 128GB version. At the moment it is not known if the smartphone will also arrive in other markets.
