Today the Chinese company, which has recently been criticized because of its involvement in the war between Russia and Ukraine, launched two new products. The first of these is called DJI Goggles Integra and as the name suggests they are FPV goggles. The second one is a new controller for the newly released Avata drone. The launch was also in Italy, so let's see its features and prices.

DJI has unveiled two new FPV goggles for the DJI Avata drone called Goggles Integra and a Motion 2 RC controller. The devices, according to the brand, offer a “immersive control experience” and boast a rather strong battery life by standards. Integra glasses owe their name to the built-in battery in the headband. The accessory is equipped with a 100Hz micro-OLED display with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a maximum brightness of 700 nits. At the same time, it video streaming from a smartphone is not supported due to lack of Wi-Fi.
Communication with the drone is ensured by the technology of OcuSync 3.0 data transmission with a declared “range” of up to 12 km, and operating at frequencies of 2,4 and 5,8 GHz. The video delay in this case is about 30 ms. The glasses don't have diopter correction, but it is the possibility of changing the lenses is foreseen. The field of view is 44° (against 51° for Goggles 2).
The RC Motion 2 controller on the other hand allows you to control the drone with hand movement. It features a lever and auxiliary buttons, including those for quick access to camera settings. For example, using the Fn button and the wheel di control, you can adjust ISO, shutter speed and other shooting parameters. Among the new features is an inversion, which allows you to quickly start moving backwards instead of the usual inversion. There declared range of the controller is 10 km, the operating time is about five hours.
DJI Googles Integra and DJI RC Motion 2 are available to order in Europe starting respectively from €659 and €179.
