The world leader in the field of consumer drones, DJI, today released a new entry-level product in China; let's welcome the DJI Mini 2 SE. The drone can shoot up to 2,7K video and is priced under €350; let's find out together.
DJI Mini 2 SE official in China: 2,7K video and 10km range for less than €330
As per tradition, the DJI Mini 2 SE is very compact and light, in fact it weighs less than 249 grams, with the arms that can be folded, making it much easier to transport.
DJI's new Mini 2 SE is also equipped with Ocusync2.0 image transmission technology. This means that compared to the original Mini SE, the flight distance is doubled and it can transmit high definition video up to a maximum distance of 10 kilometres, so a very high range especially for the price range.
As for the camera, the new drone uses a 1/2,3-inch CMOS sensor, which can shoot 2,7K video or 12MP photos. It is also equipped with QuickShots and Panorama modes, which can shoot more creative videos and photos. Additionally, while shooting video, the drone also supports 4x digital zoom.
As for the autonomy, the DJI Mini 2 SE can fly for 31 minutes on a single battery, has a wind resistance level 5 and can fly stably under a wind force of up to 10,7 m/s.
DJI's Mini 2 SE will go on sale in China on March 22 at the initial price of 2388 yuan, about 330 euros at the exchange rate. Users can also opt for a ready-made kit that includes two smart flight batteries, a charging cradle, a shoulder bag, a propeller clip, a spare propeller and other accessories priced at 3188 yuan from 440 euros at the current exchange rate.
