Honor Band 6, the new wearable device released on the Asian market last November, will also be launched in Europe (and Italy) very soon. Featuring a 2.5D curved AMOLED display elongated from 1,47 "with a resolution of 368 x 194 pixels, the wearable in question integrates several innovations compared to the previous model.
One of these is the useful side button on the right side, while on the left side you can read the brand name. This is a full-fledged fitness tracker, but the Honor Band 6 has significantly narrowed the gap with smartwatches. Let's see how.
Honor Band 6: functionality and price
First of all, at the level of technical specifications, Honor Band 6 looks like a smartwatch: it is able to monitor blood oxygen saturation, sleep and heartbeat. In addition, it is water resistant up to 5 ATM (50 meters) and is suitable for over 10 types of training.
Although it does not have GPS and NFC chips, it makes up for these shortcomings with the ability to control the music player on Android devices, to view notifications, incoming calls and weather. It can also be used to take pictures remotely.
In terms of autonomy, excellent 180 mAh battery, which guarantees a duration ranging from 10 to 14 days (depending on use). Price chapter: it costs € 49,90 at launch, available in light gray, pink and black colors. As far as availability is concerned, it should arrive in Germany on April 30th. Therefore, in Italy it could make its debut in those days.
