Without too many previews, the former sub-brand of Huawei, Honor, has just launched the new Honor MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15; let's go and discover them together.
Official Honor MagicBook 14 and MagicBook 15: Ryzen 5000 and ultra thin body
The two laptops sport an all-metal design with thin bezels surrounding the display. Notably the MagicBook 14 sports a 14-inch FHD IPS matte display that has been certified with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free certifications. The larger MagicBook 15 also features a similar display but with a 15-inch panel.
One of the strengths of the new laptops is their form factor, meaning the 14-inch model measures just 15,9mm thick and weighs just 1,38kg, with the display bezel only 4,8mm thick. On the other hand, the MagicBook 15 is 16,9mm thick and weighs just 1,54 kilograms with an 87% screen-to-body ratio and 5,3mm bezel bezel.
For performance, both laptops are equipped with AMD's latest Ryzen 5000 series processors, paired with 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 RAM and 512GB of NVMe PCIe SSD storage.
Both laptops also support WiFi 6 standards, and Honor has also said that these will support Microsoft's Windows 11 update.
Finally, as for prices, we have the MagicBook 14 at a price of 4499 Yuan (590 €) and 4599 Yuan (600 €) for the MagicBook 15.
