Honor recently announced the launch of MagicOS 7.1, the latest version of the user interface based on Android 13. This update represents a significant step to improve collaboration between different systems and devices.
The update offers a wide range of features designed to increase user productivity. One of the key new features is MagicRing, an option that makes it easier to share services between different products.
Allows multiple devices to connect automatically: With it you can cross-check and location awareness which makes it easier to use multiple screens at the same time. In addition to transferring files, receiving calls and message notifications, collaborating between devices also allows you to share a keyboard and mouse.
Honor Notes has been improved with the addition of new features. A new gesture has been introduced that allows you to quickly flag information by swiping down with three fingers. You can now annotate on a PDF, sync audio and text, and support data sync and cross-device collaboration. This ensures access to the clipboard regardless of which Honor device is used.
MagicOS 7.1 rollout templates and schedule
The MagicOS 7.1 rollout will follow the following plan:
- Available immediately for Honor Magic 4 Pro.
- By July, will be available for Honor 70, Honor 50, Honor 50 Lite e Honor Magic 4 Lite.
- Starting in July, will be extended to Honor Magic 5 Lite, Honor X7 e Honor X8.
It is important to note that the current top of the range, Honor Magic 5 Pro, is not mentioned as it already has MagicOS 7.1 since launch.
