Tineco Floor One S7 Pro – The best new floor cleaner ever – Review
I tried the new one Tineco Floor One S7 pro, the new top-of-the-range scrubber dryer from the house and which improves on its already excellent predecessor Tineco Floor One S5 Pro 2 which I have already reviewed. A full-bodied upgrade with many new features, small and large, which make it one of the best scrubbers on the market.

Design and news vs Tineco Floor One S5 Pro 2
Tineco Floor One S7 Pro is aesthetically reminiscent of their predecessors and with similar dimensions, i.e. 111 x 26.7 x 23.4 cm and weighs 5 kg when the water tanks are empty. The charging base instead measures 31 x 30 cm, including the supports for housing the accessories. The design is modern and clean, with the stem having a glossy finish while the body resembles wood.
The equipment in the package is as always rich and consists of:

I tanks, both of poco larger than in the previous model, they are positioned vertically so as to optimize capacity without ruining its aesthetics: the dirty water one is frontal and has a capacity of 0,72 liters; the one for clean water is positioned at the back and has a capacity of 0,85 liters.
When the dirty water tank is full, the appliance switches off and the voice assistant prompts you to empty it. Similarly, when the clean water tank needs to be refilled, the voice assistant prompts you to do so, but it doesn't automatically turn off.
On the upper part of the main body of the vacuum cleaner, there is a new large display from 3.6″ which is one of the upgrade compared to Tineco Floor One S5 Pro 2. It is a Colorful and very bright LCD, of great quality, which shows through animations, all the information you need: the remaining battery, the mode in use, as well as warnings that light up in case of problems such as when it is necessary to empty the dirty water tank or when it is necessary to run the self-cleaning programme. Many animated tutorials have been added that appear during the various phases of operation, helping less expert users to perform the operations. we find thelight ring around the screen that changes color according to the level of dirt detected: red when the robot detects a high level of dirt and blue when the floor is clean.
The switch on/off switch in this model has a new configuration. The voice/wifi button has been moved to the handy handle. To the button that controls the functions A directional pad has been added to move between menu items. The position of the button that starts self-cleaning has remained unchanged, still on the handle. In general the controls are well organized, always at hand but never in danger of pressing them accidentally.
Also the reel has received a makeover, now it's bigger (25 cm against 23) because it reaches the edge on both sides, allowing us to wash the floors up to the wall and the corners without leaving anything out. Efficiency has therefore increased significantly. As in all recent models, it is easily extracted thanks to themagnetic attack which prevents us from touching the roller.
Another big news, perhaps the one that I liked it more, it's motorized wheels. The Tineco automatically recognizes when we move backwards, providing a reverse propulsion that greatly lightens the movement. Considering that the roller is also forward, it helps push, with this new system It seems very light and can be controlled even with a finger!
The main brush has also been equipped with a front LED light to illuminate the floor in areas where lighting is insufficient. It is a function as simple as it is useful because it allows us to verify the effective cleaning even under the furniture or in the corners. The light can be turned off to save battery.
How does it clean Tineco Floor One S7 Pro?
From the point of view of functions and performance we do not find great news compared to the S5 Pro 2. Tineco Floor One S7 Pro has four modes of operation:
- Cars
- Max
- Incredibly
- Liquid suction
In AUTO mode, the iLoop sensor recognizes the amount of dirt automatically going to adjust the power and the water flow according to the needs. The sensor works very well and reacts very quickly to the variations in dirt it encounters. In addition the display shows a ring that progressively changes from blue to red to signal the increased cleaning intensity.
The clean water, mixed with the detergent, is sent to a roller which performs a friction on the floor capable of removing most of the stains right from the first pass. At the same time, the resulting dirt is sucked up and deposited in the front tank.
The AUTO mode is really very efficient and guarantees greater autonomy both for the battery (about 35 minutes) and for the water. In general it is the mode that I use most often.
La MAX mode is suitable for more complicated situations such as when there are older stains that have dried on the floor. There roller speed, suction power and water flow are pushed to the maximum to increase the cleaning capacity obviously at the expense of autonomy.
La ULTRA mode, which we have already seen in the S5 pro 2, guarantees maximum hygiene and cleanliness. In fact, in this mode the water is electrolysed in 30 seconds, increasing the capacity disinfectant without the need to use additional detergents. This process is very convenient and reduces the environmental impact since it allows us to do without detergents.
On the daily dirt of the tiles, il Tineco Floor One S7 Pro he's doing great and manages to remove any residue with a single pass. Even in the case of large quantities of liquid (e.g. wine, juice or coffee), but also thick substances such as barbeque sauce, it performed very well, removing everything in the first swipe. Only on old dirt is it necessary to go over several times or use the MAX mode which softens the stain thanks to the greater flow of water.
Automatic cleaning of the roller
Once back on the charging base, scan the level of dirt on the brush roll and eventually Tineco will ask you to do so automatic cleaning. We have two modes available: fast from 2 minutes ed which takes 6 minutes. In both cases the water is electrolysed as in the ULTRA mode to break down any bacterial load. It's a fully automatic process and you just have to wait for it to finish and then empty the dirty water tank.
The base obviously also takes care of the recharge it uses about 4 hours to get to 100%, therefore even less than the 4/5 hours suggested by the house. With a full charge it is possible to reach 40 minutes of autonomy in automatic mode, a value which can therefore vary according to the amount of dirt it encounters. In Max mode I did not exceed 20 minutes, which is still a remarkable value.
Also considering the large tanks, we can face even an extended washing session, without having to worry about being interrupted.
Use and maintenance
The water tank is easy to fill and since only one cap of cleaning liquid is needed, the 500ml one supplied in the package it will last for several cleanings. The vacuum cleaner always starts in automatic mode, even if the max mode was used the last time. The low weight makes it really manageable even in tight curves, moreover the roller has a towing effect that lightens its thrust.
La maintenance is very easy: just lift the lid at the top and unhook the lateral attachment of the roller which is magnetic. In the package there is included a spare roller so you can alternate them when you want to wash the one in use. It also comes with a brush for cleaning the short length of hose between the roller and the dirty water tank, but is useful for cleaning the tanks as well. Included in the package is a replacement filter as well as a package of cleaning solution.
The new, more capacious tanks are felt, in the automatic mode that manages the flows optimally, I was able to wash for 15 minutes without interruption. The maximum mode is definitely more expensive and I had half the performance.
Companion app
Tineco makes available its great app also for this product and finally more settings are available that give meaning to this app.
In addition to the usual firmware update, choice of language/volume of voice feedback, display of help, it is possible adjust the power and the water flow of the "Max" mode and the suction power of the "Suction" mode. We can too choose sequence with which the various modes will appear in the scrubber dryer menu.
Also you can choose whether activate the led light on the brush and set the preference of cleaning with/without detergent which allows the iLoop sensor to calibrate itself to work more accurately.
Also it is possible choose the thrust of the motorized wheels on 3 different levels.

Tineco Floor One S7 Pro – Conclusions and Price
Tineco Floor One S7 Pro It's a fantastic scrubber that's hard to find fault with. The upgrades of this model are all aimed at bridging some aspects of the previous Tineco, which was already excellent anyway.
Practical and efficient, it is able to replace the work of the mop/rag even on long sessions, making the "dirty" cleaning job pleasant.
