Great day for lovers of the Honor brand, who can finally get their hands on the new X10, presented today and which shows very interesting features starting from the 5G support and a Quad Camera on the rear as well as a full screen solution by means of a pop up camera selfie.
Sober and elegant design in line with the brand's device lineup, Honor X10 on the rear houses a photographic compartment defined by 4 vertical optics, inserted in a rectangular module in the upper left, the only element that interrupts the back cover as the reader fingerprint was placed on the right side. On the front, however, we can admire a 6,63-inch LCD display with Full HD + resolution without notches and holes.
In fact, to obtain a full-screen experience Honor X10 uses the trick of a pop-up module inserted on the upper frame, designed to host the selfie camera. The panel does not adopt Amoled technology but still manages to offer superb fluidity thanks to the 90 Hz refresh rate as well as a 180 Hz touch sampling rate.
The soul of Honor X10 moves thanks to the proprietary Soin Kirin 820, octa-core with 7 nm process and maximum frequency at 2,36 GHz, with support for 5G which is accompanied by rather fast memories, such as LPDDR4X type RAM and UFS storage 2.1.
Dual SIM connectivity with support for 5G Dual Mode networks (SA / NSA) but there is also the possibility of expanding the memory with a micro NM card. The device adopts a system of antennas distributed evenly around the body, in order to guarantee the stability of the 5G signal in any way it grasps it. The smartphone supports up to 9 5G bands (N1, N3, N38, N41, N77, N78, N79, N80, N84).
Honor X10 relies on a 4300 mAh battery with 22,5 W fast charging support while at the software level the system is based on Android 10 with a proprietary Magic UI 3.1 interface.
The aspect that does not disappoint is certainly linked to photography with the adoption of a 16 MP selfie pop-up camera while on the rear Honor X10 boasts a primary Sony IMX600 40 MP sensor with RYYB color filter, accompanied by a lens 8 MP ultra wide, 2 MP module for the collection of depth of field data and optics dedicated to shots in Macro mode.
There is no shortage of scene detection via AI, Super Night Mode 2.0 and the ability to shoot in 4K. Honor X10 starts at a price of 1899 yuan, about 244 euros at the exchange rate, for the basic version from 6/64 GB while we go up to 282/308 euros at the exchange rate for the 6/128 GB and 8/128 GB variants with the start of sales starting May 26th, with an exclusive for the Chinese market.
