Xiaomi is one of those companies that, before acting, has been carefully reflecting for months to be sure to make the right decision. Obviously, we are referring to the expansion to other markets that until now have seen only Asian and small American and African markets.
Through an interview recently released by Hugo Barra, we discovered some interesting things about Xiaomi's future expansion. First, he told us about the areas where Xiaomi is not yet present but which will soon be, such as the one smartwatches and VR sensors (virtual reality). Above all the latter, it represents a sector that is still developing and that is entering the market only in this period.
Speaking then of the different nations where Xiaomi products are coming, Mr Barra stressed the importance of India, where, among other things, it has passed the last months of 18, and Africa, the market seen as a source of greater potential growth. The United States also represents a very good market for Xiaomi, and despite the fact that official marketing only provides some accessories, 2016 will be new.
But do not you think you miss something? Oh yeah, Europe is missing. Unfortunately Hugo Barra has not even mentioned it in the whole interview, a sign that the landing in the Old Continent is absolutely not a priority for Xiaomi.
