iQOO Neo7 official with Dimensity 9000+ chip, 6,78 ″ Samsung AMOLED screen and a huge heat dissipation system

As scheduled, this afternoon Vivo's sub-brand, iQOO, held a conference in which it launched several products, including the new “dual core flagship” that comes under the name of iQOO Neo7.

But let's start with the design of the iQOO Neo7 which inherits the iconic look of its predecessor Neo6 and in three colors: geometric black, impression blue and pop orange. The pop orange and impression blue back cover is made of smooth leather, while the geometric black model is made of AG glass. The design of the camera module is instead inspired by 35mm film and instant photo paper; therefore a very special look.

The front of the phone is equipped with a 5 inch Samsung E6,78 flat screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080. The panel supports four-speed variable refresh rate of 120Hz, contrast ratio of 8000000: 1, a local peak brightness of 1500 nit and supports the HDR10 + standard.

In terms of performance, the iQOO Neo7 is equipped with the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chip, MediaTek's best performing chip currently on the market. The processor consists of one Cortex-A710 core and four Cortex-A510 cores, while the GPU is an Arm Mali-G710 MC10.

In addition to the powerful processor, the smartphone is equipped with an enhanced version of LPDDR5 RAM and an overclocked version of the UFS3.1 internal memory, forming a high-performance triangle.

As for the gaming side, the new phone is also equipped with a dedicated display chip called “Pro +”. With the help of the independent graphics chip, the device can calculate the transition image between the two original game frames. In fact, several native 90-frame games have been upgraded to 120 frames.

During the tests carried out by iQOO with the popular game "Genshin Impact" which has a frame rate of 60, a default image quality and a resolution of 810P, the Neo7 was officially tested for 1 hour and achieved a frame rate average is 57,4.

In fact, iQOO has invested heavily in the cooling system with a 4013mm² VC type heatsink, the largest heat dissipation area in the history of the series. This heatsink turns out to be about 167% larger than that of the previous generation.

At the same time, the VC heatsink uses 1283 capillary copper wires inside, so it can offer the highest heat dissipation rate of the series.

As if that were not enough, in addition to the large heatsink, the iQOO Neo7 also uses a graphite that dissipates heat with a total area of 7518 m2 and has 9 temperature sensors to detect the temperature of the phone with high accuracy, set the strategy of heat dissipation in time and avoid processor downclock caused by excessive temperature.

Moving on to the photographic sector, the iQOO Neo7 uses a 766 megapixel Sony IMX50V main camera, supports OIS optical image stabilization, as well as an 8 megapixel wide-angle and macro photo (4 cm) lens. For selfies we find a 16 megapixel front lens.

The new phone also has a built-in 5000mAh dual-cell battery, supports 120W flash charging, and can be charged to 50% in just 9 minutes. In comparison, the Neo 6 had a 4700mAh battery and supported 80W fast charging.

For the rest, the smartphone is Hi-Res certified, supports the infrared remote control function, has NFC and double press control under the screen. The Neo7 runs on the OriginOS Ocean operating system based on Android 12.

Finally, for prices, the iQOO Neo7 8 GB + 128 GB will be sold in China at a price of 2699 yuan (380 euros), the 8 GB + 256 GB model at 2999 yuan (422 euros), the 12 GB + 256 GB model. at 3299 yuan (464 euros) and finally the 12 GB + 512 GB version at 3599 yuan (506 euros). The smartphone will go on sale on October 31st.
