Here are the first live photos of iQOO Z1, the bearer of MediaTek Dimensity 1000+

We recently saw how Qualcomm's antagonist in the field of smartphones processors, MediaTek, presented its flagship SoC Dimension 1000+. In terms of performance this would like to point to the same numbers as Snapdragon 865 but it is known how he managed to overcome (di poco) it Snapdragon 855 Plus. Not bad though, considering how high the quality of this processor is. We also know that the first device that will integrate this MediaTek SoC will be there'iQOO Z1, just immortalized by Digital Chat Station.

The well-known leaker Digital Chat Station would already have iQOO Z1 in its hands, the first smartphone to equip the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+

Doubts about thereliability of these photographs are more than legitimate, but we are still led to believe the Chinese leaker. Very rarely (almost never actually) has he told us lies and this time we have the feeling that he is continuing on the same line. Although I haven't revealed that this is exactly this device, the comments under the shots leave poco room for doubts.

At first glance, experts will notice that the device is identical to iQOO Neo 3, the top of the range just released. In reality it is just like that and to reveal it is the Digital Chat Station itself. From his words we understand that the brand could use the same "base", just the Neo 3, changing only the processor.

This would therefore replace the Snapdragon 865. But what will i be changes finals after this change? We already know that the Neo 3 is the least expensive Snapdragon 865 SoC smartphone on the square, closely followed by Meizu 17: thanks to the higher costs of MediaTek's SoC, we could see a further drop in the final cost. Of course, if we compare the Dimensity 1000+ with the 855 Plus, there will also be missing small goodies that will make themselves felt in terms of performance.

One feature that we will find will be, as we see in the photo, the 144HZ refresh rate.

But basically, we need all this power? For usability purposes the difference between one and the other processor is impalpable. What do you think?
