The existence of the second generation of the Xiaomi Mi Band (naturally excluding the Mi Band 1S) is no longer a secret and until a few days ago it was thought that it would be officially presented with Xiaomi Mi Max during the conference held in the last day | Xiaomi Mi Max is finally official |. However, this did not happen as during the conference only the new Xiaomi phablet was presented together with the renewed MIUI 8. This is because, as had already anticipated the CEO Xiaomi himself, have emerged of the problems with the mass production of the Mi Band 2 and for this reason its presentation (as well as its sale) has been postponed for about a month Xiaomi Mi Band 2: Launch canceled due to stocks |.
This, however, does not prevent us from talking about the new Xiaomi wearable and above all from being able to start hypothesizing everything about it before it has been officially presented. In fact, thanks to a new leak, we have come into possession of some new photos that portray him and, as we had seen previously, this second version of the Mi Band will have a LED display which will give us some information as compared to the first version that had only three RGB LEDs (monochrome for Mi Band 1S).
So, from what can be seen from the images above, through the display of the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 it will be possible to view: the steps taken, the time, the heart rate, the travel speed and the percentage of remaining charge, consequently eliminating the need to necessarily consult the application on your smartphone.
However, even if we cannot say with certainty that this is the final version or that it is simply a prototype of the new Xiaomi wearable, we are sure of one thing, namely that this device will follow the market policy of the old generation by being proposed to a relatively low price!
