MediaTek together with the Dimensity 9000 could present the Dimensity 8000. It is a new (and unreleased) processor that the company has not yet officially named. The first information about this cheap but powerful processor comes to us from the Chinese informant Digital Chat Station. Based on the announced features, it will be a slightly simplified version of the flagship chip of the same family that will arrive on Redmi K50.

According to information disclosed by the Chinese tech whistleblower, MediaTek Dimensity 8000 will be built using a process to 5 nm. The CPU will include four Cortex A78 cores from 2.75 GHz e four Cortex A55 cores 2.0 GHz. The graphics accelerator Mali G510 MC6 will be responsible for the graphics inside.
The new chip will support the RAM LPDDR5 and units UFS 3.1. Smartphones based on it can be equipped with displays with Full HD + resolution and refresh rates up to 168 Hz o Quad HD + at 120 Hz. According to the insider, this processor will definitely be used by Redmi e realme.
Earlier it was also known about another new processor MediaTek Dimensity 7000. It should compete with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 870. The presentation of the chips is scheduled for this month or next.
