After a long wait, the Pro 6S was finally presented, the latest jewel from Meizu. The smartphone inherits the design from its predecessor. The metal body designed with extreme care, as evidenced by the technologies adopted for its creation (CNC, PBT nano molding, three-dimensional sandblasting anodizing process), is in fact very similar to that of the Pro 6. Even thickness and weight remain almost unchanged. , respectively 7.3mm and 163 grams. The similarities are not over: Meizu Pro 6S adopts the 5,2 ″ Full HD Amoled screen also present on the Pro 6, with 10000: 1 contrast and 350 nits luminance.
The real improvements are in the photographic sector and are mainly due to the adoption of the 386 Mpx Sony IMX12 sensor and f / 2.0 aperture. Other notable features are 6P custom lenses, ring flash, PDAF, laser focus and four-axis OIS. Also note the absence of shutter lag. One of the main disappointments of the Pro 6 had been the mediocre 2560mAh battery. Meizu has fortunately decided to equip its new smartphone with a larger 3060mAh battery, which, however, cannot guarantee more than one day of autonomy. The 24W fast charging technology will help in case you are forced to recharge your smartphone having poco time available.
Inside the Pro 6S there is the Helio X25 deca-core processor, whose temperature has been lowered by 3,5 c °. Other features include 4Gb of LPDDR3 RAM, 64Gb of storage, 5Mpx front camera, voLTE, Flyme 5 OS, dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. The price of the device is currently set at 2699 Yuan (360 euros). The Pro 6S is therefore momentarily cheaper than the 4Gb edition of the predecessor. The price of the latter will certainly be lowered in the coming weeks.
