The Miwu brand has just launched a new USB Type-C HUB and adapter with 7-in-1 design. Features include an integrated PD power supply, HDMI interface, USB 3.0 interface, SD card slot and TF card. The product is currently available for presale on the official Xiaomi Youpin website (in China) at the price of 159 yuan, about 20 euros at the current exchange rate.

The Miwu USB Type-C HUB comes with an aluminum alloy body mixed with high-strength ABS plastic, while its external measurements are 139mm x 36mm x 11,8mm.
The HUB obviously sees a USB Type-C input port at one end, while on the main body we find an HDMI port, support for SD cards, support for TF cards, three USB Type-A ports (the ordinary one) with the 3.0 x3 standard and an additional USB Type-C port.
As for the specifications of each interface, we have the HDMI port which supports 4K / 30Hz output, to transmit the video signal from the laptop to a large external display. While TF and SD card slots can be used at the same time, with up to 2TB of memory supported.
By switching to USB Type-A 3.0 ports, these can be connected to a mouse, keyboard, external hard drive and other devices. The transfer speed of the USB 3.0 ports is up to 450MB / S, so for example a 1GB movie can be transferred in about 3 seconds.
The USB Type-C interface can instead be used for both data transmission and charging. In particular, there is support for the PD (Power Delivery) standard with a maximum input power of 100W. This means that you can also recharge laptops with not very low consumption such as the 16-inch Apple MacBook Pro.
Finally, from the point of view of compatibility, the Miwu HUB USB Type-C works with both Microsoft Widows, Mac OS and even Linux.
