Moto G50 certified on TENAA with 5000mAh battery

Apparently Lenovo's now-owned brand Motorola is in a much more active time than usual. The brand would indeed be close to launching both the new Moto G60 and the G50. The second device in particular has today passed the 3C certification in China, only to appear on the website of a Spanish retailer.

Recall that the Moto G50 had already been seen on TENAA previously, with a model number XT2137-2, revealing some key details.

Specifically, we know that the smartphone measures 164,95 x 74,93 x 8,95 mm and is equipped with 5G connectivity. The device is also likely to come with an HD + display with a teardrop notch at the top of the screen. The certification also confirmed that the Moto G50 will arrive with the Android 11 operating system.

In some previous leaks, however, it was revealed that the smartphone could have a triple camera configuration on the back, consisting of a 48 megapixel primary sensor and a 2 megapixel depth sensor. In front we will find instead a 13MP camera for selfies.

Unfortunately at the moment we still don't know which chipset will power the device, but the phone is likely to be available in two memory variants: 4GB of RAM and 6GB of RAM along with 128GB of internal storage. It will then be powered by a 5000mAh battery and will likely have support for a 10W charge.

The Moto G50 could arrive in Europe at a price of 226 euros.
