A period like the present one requires more and more technological support for users. We refer to supports such as COIVD-19 exposure notifications. Without a doubt, everyone will be aware of the Immuni application, an all-Italian reality that (when more, when less) has made it possible to track users. Regardless of its usefulness, which is not our duty to question, such systems are increasingly important. Even Google seems to think about it or at least this is what the suggests version 20.50.14 of the Google Play Services. The usefulness of wearable devices such as smartband e SmartWatch. And why not combine business with pleasure by integrating functions that can benefit our health? There is no mention of features such as heart rate measurement and so on, but real supports to avoid the onset of diseases. Google seems to be preparing a very useful service: it is the COVID-19 exposure notifications on devices with Wear OS.

At present, the contact tracking on android and iOS use your smartphone's Bluetooth chip to anonymously detect devices you come into contact with. While each government agency's contact tracking and exposure notification apps (see Immune) on Android are different, they are all supported by Google Play Services. Otherwise they would not be downloadable from the portal.
This week, the beta version of Google Play Services received a version update 20.50.14, adding new lines of code related to tracking and exposure notifications. For example:

Unfortunately, however, the code it does not inform which devices will be supported. However, since these data appeared on the Google portal, it is plausible to think that all future smartwatches of the company (or in any case those with Wear OS) will be equipped with this feature.
