New Xiaomi device with Helio X25

A while ago we had proposed a clash (on paper) between two competing devices of the moment with very attractive features, namely the Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro and the Meizu Pro 6 | Xiaomi Mi 5 Pro vs Meizu Pro 6 |. Specifically, the latter device had attracted our attention due to the fact that it had a particular MediaTek processor developed in collaboration with Meizu to make the most of the potential that it could provide, so much so that it was an exclusive (for the first periods) only for this smartphone.

However, it is from poco appeared on the well-known benchmark site GeekBench a new Xiaomi brand device that has a particular feature, namely the presence of this particular processor. Specifically, this device is identified with the name of Xiaomi Redmi Pro and, as previously mentioned, has an MT6797T processor (better known as MediaTek Helio X25) which allowed it to obtain 1847 points in single-core and 4761 points in multi-core. Concludes all the presence of Android 6.0.1 and (supposedly) 4 GB of RAM, of course associated with a Mali-T880 GPU.

However, what really surprised us is the price that will be offered, as it is said that it should be only 1000 Yuan, that is about 135 €! Of course, for now, it would be better to take this detail superficially and wait for more details, but if that were true, there is a sharp drop in Meizu's revenue, as its smartphone is proposed to more than double.

Finally, there is no information regarding the photographic sensors and the diagonal / resolution of the display of this new Xiaomi device but, assuming that this device belongs to the Redmi Note series (almost certainly), we can assume the presence of a 13 MP sensor on the front. and 16 MP at the rear, while for the display a diagonal from 5,5 "inches with full-HD resolution.
