New leak on Xiaomi Mi 5

Over the last few weeks there is a lot of rumor about the new flagship of Xiaomi's home, demonstrating that many are waiting for him. What excites us, in particular, is the chance to have it more variations of the same device, which may only be aesthetic and hardware or software level (10 Windows Mobile). For sure all this will be revealed within a few weeks, more precisely at MWC 2016 in Barcelona, on February 24th | Xiaomi Mi5 will also be present at the MWC 2016 in Barcelona |. Thanks to these countless leaks and the various official confirmations from Xiaomi itself, we have already come to discover a lot about this new device but what we are still in the dark about are the materials used. In principle, until now there have been two variants (in terms of materials), one with a metal body and glass back while the other, the premium, entirely in metal.

Today, specifically, we learned of a new info concerning the first variant, namely the one with a metal body and glass back. In fact, images have leaked that clearly show the glass component that will be applied to the back of the smartphone and the particularity it brings with it.

As you can see, there are two holes in the upper part of which one will be the housing for the dual LED flash (two-tone) and the other for the camera's lens output. Furthermore, you can also notice the rotten "Mi" in the lower central part (presumably also some technical indications will be added later). Finally, the one that attracts the most attention is definitely the texture very particular below the glass, similar to the one used in the redmi 3.

If this is the back cover of the "economic" version of the new flagship of the Xiaomi house, surely it is not considered less premium than the full body in metal as it seems to be well worked and of excellent workmanship. We just have to wait for the official presentation of the device at the MWC in Barcelona, in the meantime we will keep you updated.
