We had already talked about the fact that OnePlus 9T was not in the plans of the Chinese brand, and now further confirmation has arrived. In fact, it seems that the company is focusing rather on OnePlus 10, expected between March and June 2022. Let's find out more details.
Will OnePlus 10 replace the 9T model?
Logically, a hypothetical OnePlus 9T should be released by the end of the current year, to prepare the ground for the OnePlus 10 flagship. In reality, this may not be the case. In fact, reading between the lines of what leaker Yogesh Brar tweeted, it seems that the OnePlus 10 could be what we would typically see as the Model T. Here is the leaker's tweet:
So OnePlus is working on series 10 phones which are being pitched as polished series 9 models. Apart from this a bunch of Nord series models are on the roster as well. They are expected to announce some new accessories at the next launch.

On top of that, says Brar, the company is working on "a bunch of Nord series models" and "some new accessories" to be revealed "at the next launch". Particularly there is no mention of a OnePlus 9T here, which would appear to have been permanently discarded by OnePlus. For the first time in six years, OnePlus could only release one series of flagship smartphones per year.
However, OnePlus itself has hinted that there may be a 9T with a recent tweet:
The #OnePlus9 in tea. Don't read too much into it. pic.twitter.com/hopsJTV8qu

Using the conditional is a must in these cases: the device to which the brand refers in this tweet could in fact also be a OnePlus 9RT, which will be based on the OnePlus 9R. We'll see.
