As for the hardware, the device will use the 9R as a base, so it will present the same 120Hz AMOLED panel, a higher bin version of the Snapdragon 870 and battery 4500mAh with 65W charging. There will be camera-focused updates: we will find a main sensor Sony IMX766 to 50 megapixel present in the OnePlus 9 series and in the North 2. The sensor that served as a wide-angle lens on the OnePlus 9 series has become the main module of this new model.
The particularly interesting thing about the device is that it will be the first smartphone to run OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12. Recall that now the Pete Lau brand uses ColorOS as a basis for OxygenOS and therefore the system will share the same roots.
