OnePlus has announced a special edition of its smartphone from middle band OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition. The company was inspired to create an exclusive novelty from the famous arcade game released in 1980.
The hardware of the Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition is identical to the original version. We will therefore find a processor MediaTek Dimensity 1200. However, the device received a unique rear panel design and a number of thematic features. Indeed, the back cover of the device glows in the dark, demonstrating the Pac-Man maze, but in the light it has a silvery color and only the image of the main character is reminiscent of the game.
In addition, the OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition brings with it with pre-installed dynamic wallpapers, redesigned icons for the standard OnePlus apps and retro-style notification sounds, as well as a charging animation based on the Pac-Man theme. Furthermore, the free game Pac-Man 256 2015 is already loaded on the smartphone. The new device comes with a special Pac-Man silicone case with colorful ghost characters.
The OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition goes on sale tomorrow, November 16, at the price of 529 €. For the moment we do not know if the device will also arrive in Italy but we assume so considering the price in Euros.
