Oppo shows its first proprietary phone cooler | Photo

Who likes the gaming phone industry? Many brands can count on a particular series or even on a sub brand for the production of gaming smartphones. Xiaomi for example annually invests in Black Shark. Oppo on his side he does not have a device, at least not in the global version. The only (new generation) that we can define as such is theAce 2 which, however, has never taken off for countries outside China. Very often the most hardcore gamers prefer to pair a high-performance smartphone with accessories that allow prolonged (and perhaps winning) gaming sessions. Among these we include super performing headphones but also cooling pad. This is precisely what we are talking about today: a proprietary cooling pad da poco published on the CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration). Let's go see the details.

A patent shows Oppo's first cooling pad: dedicated to seasoned gamers but with an eye for elegance

Unlike the Black Shark FunCooler Pro, the cooling pad for smartphones from Oppo comes with sinuous curves and not at all angular. The product in question, although it does not yet have a commercial name, was presented on 18/05/2020 at the CNIPA, a Chinese body that deals with the certification of technological products and more. The publication of the product dates back to today.

It looks like a kind of egg with a visible fan in the back. On the long sides, on the other hand, there are slits that serve for the dissipation of excess heat. Always taking the Black Shark cooling pad as a reference, this does not have a charging cable. It therefore has a built-in battery that does not require direct current to function. On one of the short sides, in correspondence of the clips, there is a key used to turn on the device.

We don't know if and when this product will actually hit the shelves. After all, it is a patent and in these cases the situation is never certain. We are confident, however, that such a device has its future, especially if it is wireless.

The phone cooler in question is not shown in the cover photo
