Almost a month after its release, Oppo Find X6 Pro has arrived in the hands of the DxOMark experts. They evaluated the capabilities of the smartphone's main camera in low light conditions and in various shooting scenarios. As a result, the device managed to conquer the first place in the global ranking, earning the status of the best camera smartphone of early 2023.
Oppo Find X6 Pro equips three rear modules with the following features:
- main: 50 MP, 1″, EGF 23 mm, f/1.8, OIS
- ultra wide angle: 50 MP, 1/1,56″, 15mm EGF, f/2,2
- Telephoto: 50MP, 1/1,56″, 65mm EGF, f/2,6
During the tests, each of the cameras turned out to be “excellent”, and according to two criteria, the smartphone managed to set DxOMark records: the detail e the effect sfocato. Among the advantages of the device, experts noted a fast autofocus, a small amount of noise and a high-quality automatic mode. The use of processing algorithms is almost imperceptible: there is no artificial HDR effect, oversaturated colors, warm or cold tones.
The telephoto and wide-angle lenses also worked well - thanks to the decent size of the sensors, they captured a lot of light, so the photos came out bright, almost free of noise and artifacts. According to DxOMark, the Find X6 Pro is a great option for photographers who want to capture landscapes and portraits with good detail in any light. There were, of course, some drawbacks: under difficult shooting conditions, skin color sometimes acquired shades unnatural, backlit shots often had contrast poco pronounced, and automatisms sometimes incorrectly determined the exposure of the shot. Experts have also noted the shallow depth of field, as a result of which objects at the edges of the frame at a small shooting distance may be blurred.
In terms of video quality, Oppo Find X6 Pro has managed to become the best among all android smartphones. According to experts, only the iPhone 14 Pro does a better job. The Find X6 Pro's image is virtually noise-free even in low light, it reliably selects exposure and white balance in various scenes. As a result of the tests, OPPO Find X6 Pro has conquered the first place among smartphones in its price category and in the global ranking, ahead of Honor Magic 5 Pro by one point.
