In a period in which the entire world population, first and foremost the Chinese population, is forced to spend long days inside their home, it is therefore easy to get carried away by digital activities such as gaming and therefore create an addiction, which often it also results in disbursements of money, to advance in level, purchase weapons or anything else that needs unlocking after payment.
OPPO has therefore put in place an anti-gambling addiction system, which will strictly control payment requests from underage users and / or without a registered account. A real social scourge that of gambling addiction so much to alarm too the National Press and Publication Administration, which published a report entitled: "Communication on preventing addiction of minors from online games".

A simple system certainly, but appropriate as a deterrent to this new digital "epidemic". OPPO smartphone users will therefore have to complete a mandatory authentication, with real and non-fictional data, in order to unlock the in-app payments required by the video games. After completing the certification, the terminal will prohibit access to minors under the age of 8, will limit the single recharge of users over the age of 8 and under the age of 16, to a maximum amount of 50 yuan and in any case not more than 200 yuan in the whole month. For all other users, the single top-up cannot exceed 100 yuan, while the cumulative top-up amount in the month will not exceed 400 yuan.
Finally, users who have not completed registration with real data will not be able to access the game. In short, a praise to OPPO that has taken this theme to heart and that is in its own way limiting the dependence on online games by minors.
