Smartphone maker OPPO has just launched two very interesting high-end devices, the OPPO Reno8 Pro and Reno8 Pro +, with the former debuting the brand new Snapdragon 7 Gen1 chip.

Let's start with this, the Reno8 Pro which inherits the slim and light body and the aesthetics of the mother series and will be available in three color combinations: Slightly Drunk, Encounter Blue and Night Tour Black. The thickness of the body is 7,57mm and the weight is 188g.
The Reno8 Pro features a 6,62-inch screen, supports a 120Hz refresh rate, and has a local peak brightness of up to 1300 nits.
In terms of performance, the Reno8 Pro the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen1, which uses a 4nm Samsung manufacturing process, the CPU is composed of 1 super core A710 with a main frequency of 2,4 GHz, 3 cores A710 large with a frequency of 2,36 GHz, 4 small A510 cores of 1,8 GHz. In terms of GPU, the graphics power of the Snapdragon 7 Gen1 is 20% higher than that of the Snapdragon 778G.
In addition to the first smartphone with Snapdragon 7 Gen1, the Reno 8 Pro is also equipped with the self-developed chip of OPPO Mariana MariSilicon X. The chip adopts a self-developed AI computing unit, with a maximum AI computing power of 18 TOPS , an energy efficiency ratio of 11,6 TOPS / W and offers 20-bit Ultra HDR capability.

Moving on to the OPPO Reno8 Pro +, the smartphone uses a 6,7-inch OLED flat screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The OPPO Reno8 Pro + is powered by the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX chip and here too we find the self-developed OPPO Mariana MariSilicon X chip.
In dark environments, the two chips make hair, walls, textures, and other details lighter. The video image is clearer and more transparent. Particularly at night it captures sharper, more natural and more precise skin tones. At the same time, it can get faster images at night, and the shooting speed is increased by 38,7%.
In addition, the camera and chip can cooperate silently, with HDR capture and HDR fusion computing capabilities, so that every frame of the video comes from the merging of light and dark frames, even in backlight. But more importantly, OPPO puts HDR noise reduction and fusion calculations into the lossless RAW domain for processing, which can retain 30% more image information, greatly improving image quality.
