Oppo it's not just smartphones. Like any self-respecting company, its goal is to enter as much as possible into the daily life of users. And how to do it if not through smart devices that are outside the mobile device sector? We have already seen in the past how the Chinese giant has put his hands in the dough inside that big cauldron that is there smart home. Between smart cameras e interfaces for smart home products, the company's attention is increasing. Today we see another product: a smart doorbell with built-in camera.
CNIPA tells us about Oppo's idea of bringing many products to users' smart homes, including a smart doorbell with camera
Inside the China National Intellectual Property Administration, also known as CNIPA, Oppo today received the patent for its first smart doorbell. Below is the screenshot of the documentation relating to the product which certifies that we are talking about a company device.

The patent was applied for in May 2020 but was approved only yesterday. Having said that, however, let's see how Oppo's product will be in reality.

The brand's smart doorbell is as big as a finger up and down and it is applicable to the wall or door via an adhesive backing. Note the total absence of holes for connecting the wires: it is in fact a completely device wireless. According to what we learn from the patent, it will work with technology Bluetooth. In the lower part we see a retina that is hiding speaker; in the upper one a physical sliding key which is probably the switch.
Frontally we have a camera at the top, a sensor (probably bright) for motion detection and a key. The latter appears to be a touch button.
That said: it's too early to know the price and release date. It is only a patent and it is not even assumed that the product will come out for real. We await news in this regard.
