Within the section Terms and Conditions of the official PayPal website, we found an update referring to the cryptocurrency section. PayPal today introduced new e-wallet features in terms of using cryptographic assets. One of the major updates is support for the transfer of Bitcoin, Ethereum and other supported digital currencies on external wallets. Initially, the PayPal service did not have such an opportunity, and in order to withdraw cryptocurrencies from the system's internal wallet it was necessary convert them to fiat (essentially to sell them).
Users can now send BTC, ETH, BCH and LTC to external addresses, including those associated with exchange accounts and other wallets. Even within the app, you can now send cryptocurrency to other users of the app. Access to the new functionality will gradually open: the possibility of making external transfers on the proprietary platform will begin to be provided to users from today and will be available to everyone in the United States in the next two weeks.
