POCO, the independent budget brand of Xiaomi, officially presented its new low-end smartphone, the POCO C65. It is the successor to the POCO C55, which had achieved good sales success thanks to its quality-price ratio.
POCO Official C65: entry-level with 90Hz display and 50MP camera

The display of the POCO C65 is a p6,74 inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1600×720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate, which guarantees greater fluidity in animations and games. The display also has a maximum brightness of 600 nits, a TUV certification for low blue light emissions, and a DC dimming function to reduce flickering.
At the top of the display there is a front camera from 8MP, which is an improvement over the 5MP camera on the POCO C55. The camera is equipped with a soft light ring that allows you to achieve natural light effects, even in low light conditions.

On the back of the smartphone stands out the main camera from 50MP with f/1.8 aperture, which allows you to take detailed and bright photos. Next to the main camera is a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, which allows you to capture objects at a minimum distance of 4 cm. The macro camera is new compared to the POCO C55, which only had a depth sensor.
For biometric unlocking, the device offers two options: the fingerprint reader located on the right side of the device or facial recognition via the front camera.
Il POCO C65 has a battery from 5.000 mAh with support to quick charge from 18W, even if only a 10W charger is included in the package. Another positive aspect of the POCO C65 is the presence of a USB-C port, which replaces the old micro-USB port of the POCO C55. The smartphone also has a jack from 3,5 mm for headphones.

Under the hood, the POCO C65 mounts a MediaTek Helio G85 processor at 12 nm, the same as POCO C55, but with two options RAM memory: 6GB or 8GB. The internal storage space is instead of 128GB or 256GB, expandable via a microSD card.
Il POCO C65 is available in three colors: black, blue and purple. The price and launch date have not yet been announced, but the device can already be found in preview on AliExpress priced at $ 129 for the 6GB+128GB version and $149 for the 8GB+256GB one, with sales starting November 11th.
