New variant of the POCO M4 Pro 4G spotted on Geekbench

A couple of days ago, we reported about the future POCO M4 Pro 4G which was apparently tested on the well-known Geekbench benchmarking platform. Well, today a new version of the device was also caught on the Geekbench site, with practically identical hardware and scores.

New variant of the POCO M4 Pro 4G spotted on Geekbench

Specifically, the POCO The M4 Pro 4G spotted today comes with the model number “2201117SI”, while the one caught last week had the model number “2201117PG”.

As for the Geekbench score, the latest “2201117SI” model seen on Geekbench scored 526 points in the single core test and 1832 points in the multi core test. The model "2201117PG" had instead obtained a score of 517 points in single core mode and a score of 1852 points in multi core mode. Both tests were carried out on Geekbench version 5.4.4.

As for the hardware, even if Geekbench does not show us the chipset on board the device, it is possible to read that it is an octa core processor with a 2 + 6 core configuration. The two high-performance cores are clocked at 2,05GHz while the other 6 cores are clocked at 2,00Ghz.

As if that were not enough, it is shown that the codename of the chipset is ARM MT6781, this means that most likely it is the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. This chip is built with a 12nm manufacturing process (therefore a bit old) and integrates a Mali G57 as a GPU. Finally, we can read that the POCO M4 Pro 4G will come with 6GB of RAM and will run with Android 11 as the operating system.

Recall that a couple of weeks ago a leak suggested that the M4 Pro 4G could be a rebrand of the Redmi Note 11S. The specs should therefore include a 6,43-inch display, Full HD + resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate and 1000nit maximum brightness.
