Redmi G34WQ

The Redmi G34WQ was presented on the official Xiaomi store and will be available for purchase starting from 20:00 pm today, with a pre-sale price of 1499 yuan, equivalent to approximately 195 euros at the current exchange rate. This is a very attractive price, considering the specifications of this monitor, which make it suitable for both gaming and productivity.

The Redmi G34WQ has one resolution of 3440 × 1440 pixels, an aspect ratio of 21:9 and a 180Hz refresh rate, which guarantee a sharp, wide and fluid image. According to the official introduction, the aspect ratio of this monitor can increase the field of view by 30% compared to a 16:9 screen, and it has a “golden curvature” of 1500R, which improves immersion and reduces visual fatigue. Furthermore, it has a 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, a response time of 1ms and supports Free Sync technology, which prevents screen tearing during gameplay.

Redmi G34WQ

La brightness of the Redmi G34WQ is 350nits, has an accuracy of color of ΔE<2, it can filter short-wave blue light and supports DC dimming, which reduces screen flickering. Structurally, the monitor supports various forms such as lifting up and down, rotating left and right, tilting forward and backward, and wall mounting the stand. It features two DPI 1.4 interfaces, two HDMI 2.0 interfaces and one audio interface. In other aspects, this monitor also has RGB ambient light, which adds a touch of style to the design.

The Redmi G34WQ is the second curved gaming monitor launched by Xiaomi, after the Mi Curved Display 34, which has a similar resolution and curvature, but a lower refresh rate of 144Hz. The Redmi G34WQ is therefore positioned as an improved and cheaper version of the Mi Curved Display 34, and is proposed as one of the most interesting options on the market of curved gaming monitors with WQHD resolution.
