It has been a long time since the rumors regarding the new flagships of the Redmi house and of the Xiaomi house have begun to invade the tech pages of the themed blogs, but something concrete and in the short term is about to come true, as one of the more established rumors there seems to be the one that sees the new Redmi K40 as the protagonist of the debut by the end of the year.
In fact, it seems that the Chinese brand is completing preparations for the launch of the new generation smartphone, which should also adopt new design lines compared to the past. First of all Redmi K40 will abandon the concept of a retractable camera and therefore consequently of a very full screen display, in favor of a punch hole as seen on the Xiaomi Mi 10 flagship, from which it also inherits the panel, therefore curved lines on both profiles.
Redmi K40 could debut as early as the end of the year, with big changes in the design
Design therefore new for the K series but not for the brand in general, but on the other hand we remember that the real top of the range will be the Redmi K40 Pro which is expected to debut for the beginning of 2021, as happened in the past, in which we could see the launch of Redmi K30 in December and Redmi K30 Pro in March. In addition to this is added the fact that Redmi K40 adopts a processor of the Snapdragon 700 series, therefore we could define the new smartphone as a former top of the range available to the less wealthy, a bit like it happens in clothes outlets.
But honestly, I personally appreciate the design of Xiaomi Mi 10 and its curves and therefore I cannot but love the new Redmi K40, also because if the design of Xiaomi Mi 11 is confirmed, then we could really say that the engineers really don't have anymore ideas to develop, presenting obscene terminals, or maybe it's all a strategy to make us appreciate a hypothetical release of Xiaomi Mi Mix 4?
