Redmi Note 13 Turbo coming with Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 chip

As we know, Xiaomi is one of the most active and innovative companies in the smartphone industry, and its series Redmi Note it is one of the most appreciated by consumers for its excellent quality-price ratio. Well, after launching last year the Redmi Notes 12 Turbo, which was equipped with the Snapdragon 7+ Gen2 processor, Xiaomi is preparing to present its successor, the Redmi Notes 13 Turbo, which promises to be even more premium and performing.

The Redmi Note 13 Turbo will in fact be the first smartphone to be equipped with the new one Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 chips, the most advanced of the Qualcomm 7 series, which comes very close to the performance of the 8 series, reserved for the top of the range. The Snapdragon 7+ Gen3 is made with a 4-nanometer manufacturing process, which ensures high energy efficiency and heat reduction. The chip has a three-cluster structure, with one Cortex-X4 core at 3 GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 2,5 GHz and four Cortex-A520 cores at 1,8 GHz. The GPU is an Adreno 732, which supports the 120 Hz display and advanced gaming functions.

According to AnTuTu tests, the most used benchmark for measuring smartphone performance, the Redmi Note 13 Turbo obtained a score of 1,7 million points, far surpassing the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which stopped at 1,1 million, and approaching the Pixel 6a, which reached 1,8 million with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip.

In addition to the processor, the Note 13 Turbo is expected to have other interesting features, such as a 6,67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging a 100 megapixel rear camera with Samsung HM3 sensor and a front 16 megapixel camera. The design should be similar to that of the Redmi Note 13 Pro, with a glass back cover and a circular photographic module.

The Redmi Note 13 Turbo should be presented after the Chinese New Year, which this year falls on February 10, together with other Redmi products, such as the Redmi G, a laptop dedicated to gaming. The price has not yet been revealed, but it is assumed that it will be very competitive, as per Xiaomi tradition.
