Official Redmi Smart TV A55: 55 ″, 4K and HDR at 250 euros
The Redmi Smart TV A55 is now on presale in China on the JingDong store at the price of 1777 Yuan, about 220 euros, and will be shipped starting from 30 September. The retail price will instead be 1999 yuan, or about 250 euros at the current exchange rate.
As the name suggests, Redmi's A55 Smart TV is a smart TV with a 55-inch diagonal panel and support for HDR. The display then has a 4K resolution, to be precise 3840 × 2160 pixels and is equipped with a new generation quality image engine capable of intelligently recognizing images and improving their quality in all its forms through the use of different algorithms.
The Redmi Smart TV A55 then adopts stereo speakers coupled to an audio algorithm developed by Xiaomi to create a more immersive sound and support DTS decoding, offering a cinematic audiovisual experience.
While from the point of view of connectivity, we have two HDMI inputs, two USB inputs, ethernet port for internet connection, AV port, S / PDIF and one for the antenna. A CPU with Cortex A53 core, accompanied by 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory, takes care of everything.
As for the software side, the Smart TV A55 is pre-installed with the MIUI TV operating system in its version 3.0. This allows us to control smart devices with our voice and create a network for all the gadgets in the house. So we can for example view the status of a device, receive messages and control different gadgets with voice commands.
In addition, this version of MIUI TV also has a minimalist mode with some columns depending on the category of content that vary between health, variety shows, news, sports etc .. All this to facilitate the use for older people.
