Chinese brand TCL has just launched the MOVETIME Family Wach 2, the successor to the MOVETIME Family Watch for seniors announced last year. However, this new version was actually created for the little ones.

The MOVETIME Family Watch 2 arrives with a 1,54-inch screen, surrounded by thick edges and housed in a seemingly very sturdy case. The smartwatch has a two-tone pink and rose gold finish with a splash of purple for the side button and one of the strap loops. The buckle is made of metal and has a silver-colored finish.
In addition to the hardware, TCL claims to have developed a kid-friendly user interface for the smartwatch. The camera is also better and the battery capacity has been increased by 40%. There is a nano-SIM card slot for 4G connectivity so that parents can call their kids on the watch via voice or video. They can also send text messages.
Security is one of the key features of TCL's smartwatch, in fact it comes with a real-time geolocation that shows where the child is at all times. It also records a complete history of locations. Parents can create a safe zone geofence and when the child leaves this area, they receive an alert on their smartphones. There is also a one-touch SOS button so that children can reach an emergency contact as quickly as possible.
The TCL MOVETIME Family Watch 2 will be sold in Europe at a price of 149 euros.
