The Tecno brand has recently presented its first true flagships with the names of Phantom X2 and Phantom X2 Pro. The two smartphones differ only in the cameras adopted.
Tecno Phantom X2 Pro presented: the smartphone with retractable camera arrives
The Phantom X2 series comes with a 6,8-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 360Hz touch sampling rate.
The two devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset with a vapor chamber cooling system, LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
But let's go to the most interesting feature of the Tecno Phantom X2 Pro, namely its 1 MP Samsung JN50 retractable vertical camera with support for 2,5x zoom and f/1,49 aperture lens. This camera is paired with a 50MP Samsung GNV main camera and a 3MP Samsung 6L13 ultra wide angle camera with support for macro vision.
While the Tecno Phantom X2 arrives with a 64MP Samsung GWB main camera with OIS, the same 13MP ultrawide camera with macro view support as the pro model and a 2MP depth sensor. Both come with a 32MP selfie camera.
For autonomy, the smartphones integrate a 5.160 mAh battery and support 45W wired fast charging. Other specifications include dual SIM, 5G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC and USB 2.0 (Type-C ).
For prices, the Tecno Phantom X2 (8GB + 256GB) is sold for 2699 Saudi Riyals (680€), the Tecno Phantom X2 Pro (12GB + 256GB) costs 3499 Saudi Riyals (880€).
