The Mijia induction cooker with high precision temperature control is dedicated to all the small MasterChef

Yesterday Xiaomi announced a product intended for small budding cooks or those who may not have much space available in their kitchen. The new product is branded Mijia and it is a induction cooker, offered at the price of 299 yuan (about 38 euro) and is available starting today 22 December at the Chinese company store. To complete the whole, however, Xiaomi also presented one pot suitable for the transmission of heat by induction, which perfectly matches the new Mijia product, at the price of 99 yuan (about 13 euro).

The Mijia induction cooker has a circular design with control via 3 buttons, of which 2 touch and a physical enclosed in a ring that will allow you to scroll through the functions offered as well as to adjust the temperature, simplifying the cooking operations.

The physical button also acts as a switch and is also inserted a small display on which all usage information will be returned and selected modes, including fry and soups. And then possible to set a timer that will warn us when our delicacies are ready. Of course, the application is available with which to change the cooking modes but also to customize the temperature profiles to be recalled if necessary according to the food that we are going to cook. I'm 100 the cooking modes to draw on by delivering one power of 2100 W.

The Mijia induction cooker is built to stringent safety standards, with separate and isolated electromagnetic cables and coil so that possible splashes of water do not damage the product causing short circuits. On the crystal plate there is also a sort of pressure switch, in order to avoid ignition when the pot is not present. There is no further information, but to better understand the functionality of the new Mijia induction cooker I leave you directly to the presentation video proposed by the company.
