After the teaser of yesterday, here are the 90 Minutes Smart Running Shoes, the new Xiaomi smart running shoes with Intel Curie chips, very small chips in size but enough to identify the type of walking or racing (even climbing) and storing data fitness such as distance, path, speed and calories consumed, for about 60 days, battery life time.
This model was developed by Shanghai Runmi Technology C0. Ltd and is said to have been created for professional athletes. The body is made of a sponge-like material that cushions the impact of the foot with the ground and propels the stride. The sole is designed to favor the body's natural balance while the outer layer is non-slip. The shoe also has a removable antibacterial insole with arch support.
There are three models available: a pink designed for the female audience, a black one and a blue version that is a special edition that has been added to the heel area, a bright material that lights up at night.
90 Minutes Smart Running Shoes are available for crowdfunding at 229Yuan (around 41 €) through its Xiaomi app - unfortunately, however, the initiative is only devoted to Chinese users - and will be shipped from April 15.
