Today Vivo released a promotional video on the upcoming Vivo S9 5G, which should be launched on March 3 in China.
Vivo S9 5G shown in the official teaser: it will integrate the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 chip
Last week, the design of the Vivo S9 5G was revealed thanks to official renderings leaked online. The video just released anticipates the smartphone and confirms some of its main features.
The short video reveals that the Vivo S9 5G has a wider notch than usual, just like the smartphone's predecessor, the Vivo S7 5G. The notch houses a dual selfie camera system, this after confirming last week that it will include a 44-megapixel lens as the primary selfie camera.
On the back of the smartphone we find a rectangle-shaped module for its triple camera system. Leaks suggest it includes a 64 megapixel main camera.
Returning to the video, this confirms that the Vivo S9 5G will be powered by the Dimensity 1100 chipset and UFS 3.1 memory.
While other leaks have revealed that the smartphone will adopt an AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz.
Finally, the device could house a 4.100mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
