In the previous weeks we have learned that Xiaomi will officially release a new generation of Mi MIX flagships in the third quarter of this year. It will be the return of the MIX series with a "traditional" design three years after the launch of the Mi MIX 3, and will therefore continue with its typical full screen design.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 with camera under the screen will cost more than the Mi 11 Ultra
Well, recently a Chinese blogger released some new info on the upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 4. In particular he revealed that the smartphone will only be launched in one version, which means that this year's Mi MIX 4 only has the version with camera under the screen. There will be no other variant without a camera under the display, as was previously leaked.
At the same time, the blogger also disclosed for the first time information regarding the price of the Mi MIX 4. According to what was revealed, the smartphone will be more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra launched a couple of months ago.
Recall that in Italy, the variant of the Mi 11 Ultra with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory has a list price of 1199 euros. So the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 will be quite expensive while not bringing anything really great except the camera below the display.
If we add to this that the display resolution will be 1080p + (rumor) and not 2K + as on the Mi 11 Ultra, then we are faced with a really expensive device with a very bad price / specifications ratio.
It is worth mentioning that, in addition to bringing a truly "full screen" screen with a front camera under the screen, the Xiaomi Mi MIX4 should also adopt a design with four edges of completely identical dimensions. The overall visual effect of the screen should be truly outstanding.
