Although the Redmi K50 has just been released in China, the Xiaomi parent company hasn't shown us anything new for some time. That said, according to the latest from the well-known Chinese blogger Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi will hold a conference this month in which she will launch a new smartphone.
Xiaomi 12 Lite or Civi 2? One of the two will be presented by the end of the month
As previous leaks suggest, the second generation of the "most beautiful Xiaomi mobile ever", the Xiaomi Civi, should be presented at the conference.
Always the same leakster had previously revealed that the design of the Xiaomi Civi 2 had already been finalized and that the design of the back cover had already been sent to an accessories factory.
Digital Chat Station also lets us know that the new Civi will be equipped with a curved screen with a Full HD + resolution. It is also thought that the Xiaomi Civi 2 will be equipped with the same screen that we find on board the Xiaomi 12.
As for the other specifications, Xiaomi's Civi 2 should be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chip. Previously, due to some novelties of the new Snapdragon 7 series, many had speculated that the smartphone could be the first to debut with the new Qualcomm chip. But according to the latest from China, given that the Xiaomi Civi 2 is already in an advanced stage, it is expected that it will be equipped with a Snapdragon 778G +, hence a chipset from last year.
It is also worth mentioning that in the past few days there has been a lot of talk about a smartphone from the Xiaomi 12 series that would be equipped with a mid-range chip. This smartphone should arrive under the name of Xiaomi 12 Lite and bring an excellent specifications / price ratio. That said, there is always the possibility that the much talked about Xiaomi 12 Lite is actually the next Xiaomi Civi 2.
