The Xiaomi GTS lightweight sports shoes are produced by Qingyuan Shuo-seok Technology Research Services Ltd, subsidiary of the company of Lei Jun that is hosting the sneakers on the crowdfunding platform. Minimalist yet elegant design designed with breathable mesh in the upper part which is one of its strengths. The network is made of a permeable material that ensures air entry into the shoe so that it can be used for a whole day without overheating the foot too much going to excessive perspiration.
There are no laces but a ribbon that adheres perfectly to the shape of the foot, which eliminates the annoying problem of being in the middle of a sports session and ending it to tie shoes. Furthermore the soles of the GTS sports shoes are made in TPU anti-slip and anti-wear. Sneakers have a launch price of 199 Yuan (about 25 euro at current exchange rate) but they are currently available for purchase only if residing in China.
