Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra: now we know what that thick camera module is for!

The latest Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is undoubtedly one of the most premium smartphones released by Xiaomi and we could even say one of the most advanced devices ever released on the market. The Mi 11 Ultra also has one of the largest camera modules ever seen, both in area and thickness. In fact it is so often that a Chinese user decided to use it as a reverse wireless charging base.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra: now we know what that thick camera module is for!

As we know, in fact, Xiaomi's latest super flagship supports reverse wireless charging technology with a maximum power of 10W, which compared to wireless charging to recharge the smartphone (67W) seems quite slow. That said, given that reverse wireless charging should be used above all to recharge wearables like the Bluetooth headphones we see in the video, the drop in power shouldn't diminish its usefulness.

Clearly what is shown in the video is not at all optimal. The user has in fact positioned the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra upside down and with the screen facing the 80W wireless charger which therefore cannot recharge the device. This is an ironic video to make us laugh at the mammoth dimensions of the camera module on board the Mi 11 Ultra.

This is also not the first funny video regarding the thickness of the cameras. As we can see in the clip below, even the Youtuber MKBHD has decided to entertain us with a Mi 11 Ultra that manages to balance on the edge of a desk thanks to its rear cameras.

Recall that this fairly derided camera module is made up of top-notch photographic hardware accompanied by a secondary display that allows us to use it to take selfies with the highest possible quality.

As for the cameras itself, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra integrates the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GN2 sensor with a resolution of 50MP, an ultra wide camera with a 586MP Sony IMX48 sensor and finally a periscope lens always with a 586MP Sony IMX48 sensor and zoom. maximum of 120X.

Now tell us yours; what do you think of the Mi 11 Ultra module? Do you find it too often or don't you really care about this detail? Let us know in the comments section below!
