Indiscretions arrive from China on the existence of an elusive perfect smartphone and no, we are not talking about a future device still under development that only a few will be able to afford, but a modified version of the inexpensive Xiaomi flagship, the Xiaomi Mi 9.
Irony aside, the Chinese media reported on a store that modifies the device by equipping it with a larger battery.
Chinese store sells Xiaomi Mi 9 with 6500mAh battery!
How big is this battery? If you have the title you already know but we remember it anyway, it is a beast with a capacity of 6500mAh. A battery that is the envy of many battery-phones sold by lesser-known Chinese brands.
With a 6500mAh battery, the Xiaomi Mi 9 gains 3200mAh well compared to the original 3300mAh, in fact almost doubling its capacity.
Unfortunately, the size of the battery will not be the only feature to increase. Obviously the thickness will suffer, for the precision of 3,4 millimeters for a total thickness of 11 millimeters. The same goes for the weight that increases by 60 grams, making the Mi 9 pass from the lightweight class with 173 grams to the heavyweight with 233 grams.
It is also surprising that despite this change, wireless charging at 20W is still fully functional, as is ultra-fast cable charging at 27W.
All the rest of the hardware remains unchanged, so we will have the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor accompanied by 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal memory, three rear cameras with the main one equipped with a Sony IMX586 sensor from 48MP, the secondary from 13MP with 2X zoom telephoto lens and a third from 16MP with ultra wide-angle lens.
We conclude by highlighting that we do not recommend buying it as it is sold by a third store, without any guarantee or security that works on arrival, as long as you can find it from China!
