A new Xiaomi smartphone has just been caught in the GeekBench benchmarking platform database. The device arrives with the code name Xiaomi CAS, which as we have learned in the past indicates that it will be a smartphone of the CC series. So, given that the last of the series adopts the name of Mi CC9, the one that appeared on GeekBench should instead be called Xiaomi Mi CC10 (or CC10 Pro).

The most surprising data of this benchmark is the hardware that we find on board the device. The CC series is notoriously equipped with mid-range processors as it focuses everything on photography and on the fact that it is relatively cheap in order to attract a younger audience. The Mi CC10 instead seems to arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 if we look at the GeekBench score. We are speaking of 674 points in single core mode and 2880 in multi core mode. As well as the base frequency of 1.80Ghz typical of Qualcomm's chipset.
Together with the Snapdragon 865 the smartphone then seems to adopt 8GB of RAM and Android 10 as an operating system, with the MIUI 12 skin above it, of course.
As for the other specifications, at the moment we don't have any other official or unofficial info, but we expect an uncompromising photographic sector. As mentioned previously, in fact, the CC series is famous above all for adopting the best technology from the point of view of photography. For example, the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro which was then marketed in a global version under the name of Mi Note 10 was the first smartphone with a 108MP image sensor.
Clearly we think to find another 108MP sensor on the Xiaomi Mi CC10 Pro, as well as a periscope lens to improve the quality of the images even at long distance.
