As you will surely know, Google has never achieved a smartphone or Nexus tablet as it has entrusted the whole process of developing and "building material" of the devices to partner companies. For example, we had LG with the production of Nexus 5 and Nexus 5X, Asus with the implementation of the Nexus 7 and HTC models with Nexus 9. A collaboration between Google and Xiaomi could be useful for both companies:
- Xiaomi would be convenient for a partner like Google to reach the European and US market with its smartphones;
- It would be convenient for Google to get overpowered in the Chinese market.
It is for this reason that 7 follows the reasons why the Xiaomi Mi Max would be a great project from which to launch a new Nexus 7:
- Premium construction: thanks to the techniques adopted by Xiaomi, Google could offer users a premium tablet but cost-effective content;
- Top Specifications: Xiaomi knows how to make top-of-the-range, thanks to the long experience accumulated with Mi4, Mi5, Mi Note and Mi Note Pro;
- Camera: the sensor equipped with the Mi Max allows you to have extremely good shots even in low light conditions. In addition, thanks to the PDAF system, the focus is fulminating;
- Expandable memory: The Mi Max, despite having wider memory cuts than several other smartphones, continues to maintain the micro SD expansion slot, which, however, has so far not been adopted by Google;
- Dual SIM connectivity: Although this is a virtually absent tablet specification, we wanted to add it because of the excellent management of the modules adopted by Xiaomi for the Mi Max;
- Fingerprint Sensor: Even in this case, Xiaomi is accumulating great experience and, thanks to the new technologies, could begin to equip ultrasonic sensors (rumble for Mi5) for the next device;
- Price: By linking to the first point, Xiaomi would be able to produce a quality product at a very low price.
