The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 has been from poco presented and was an instant hit with a flashsale that literally wiped out availability in 30 seconds. Likewise, i Italian retailers they are registering a lot of sales and certainly to affect these performances was the disastrous withdrawal from the market of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which would have been a great competitor in the sector of smartphones "Note with curved screen". However, Xiaomi has decided to repeat the success by proposing even a non-screen version with curved back!
In fact, MIIT China has confirmed the existence of a mysterious "2015213" model, which is also present in the TENAA archive, and which, thanks to the photos and technical specifications, seems to be the twin of the Mi Note 2 with a flat screen.
The hardware configuration is exactly the same. Display from 5.7 "and a resolution from 1080p. SoC Qualcomm SnapDragon 821 with 6gb RAM, an 128gb internal memory supported by a 4070mAh battery. Even the measurements are identical to the millimeter, which leaves us a bit perplexed, considering the different form factor. However, it is not possible to know whether this model will also adopt a possible one OLED panel as a curved version.
Surely the presence on the TENAA lists gives this "noise" great reliability, even if I remind you that this does not necessarily imply a production or possible variations in the immediate future. It will instead be interesting to know what price will be placed in the market as the absence of the curved display will certainly ensure a great economic savings in production.
