The presentation of the Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has almost passed, who saw the 11 September with Xiaomi Mi Mix and the new Mi Notebook Pro. The new smartphone was immediately available for sale and so someone has had fun running one teardown treatment. In this article we will limit ourselves to showing you the photos and therefore does not want to be neither a guide nor a review, which we hope will soon be able to offer you on our site and on Youtube channel.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 has been defined as one enhanced version of the Mi 6 top range as well as the company itself defined it during the presentation event. The two models adopt exactly the same design as most of the hardware compartment is shared, such as the rear camera dual sensors, the glass-covered metal body, the fingerprint sensor on the non-clickable front button.
It is interesting to note through the proposed teardown that also the layout of the internal components is arranged in the same way both on Mi Note 3 and on Mi 6. The difference, however, is in the CPU as it is the Mi Note 3 adopts a Snapdragon 660 processor, typically used on mid-range devices. The difference compared to the Snapdragon 835 used by Mi 6 is also in the construction that is found to be 14nm compared to the 10nm of the SD835, which is therefore larger in terms of physical size.
