About a week ago, Xiaomi announced the new range of super cheap laptops under the name "Xiaomi Mi Notebook". Available in three variants, the first two have today officially gone on sale with a price starting from 3999 yuan (about 500 euros) for the version with i5 and 4GB of RAM and 4499 yuan (on 564 €) for the variant with 8GB of RAM. What has not been announced is the model with the most performing processor, namely the Intel Core i7.
The new Xiaomi laptop series is sure to shake the market. In fact, with just 500 €, you can buy a device with metal body, a very classic and minimal design without any logo, even if not super thin to thick 19.99mm. It is also available in black and white, two colors not very common on the market where shades of gray are preferred, or at least it is so in most laptops in the same price range.
The Xiaomi Mi Notebook then comes with a screen from 15.6 inches and a Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080), powered by a dedicated Nvidia MX110 card with 2GB of integrated memory and a latest generation Intel Core (Coffee Lake). As for the space on the device, the Mi Notebook mounts a very fast SSD from 128GB coupled with a slower Hard Disk from 1Tb; definitely a great combo at that price.

Another strong point of this laptop is the system consisting of two fans, four heat pipes and two air outlets that will ensure ample cooling of both the processor and the video card. All the components will benefit from this, but above all the battery which, operating at lower temperatures, will offer greater autonomy.
The connectivity is also quite good with an 3 SD reader in 1, an 2.0 USB port, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI port, two 3.0 USB ports and an 3.5mm jack to connect both a microphone and headphones. Finally, the handset uses a system of speakers from 3W with a special design that provides an effective volume of 12cc, that is 6 times greater than that of the already excellent Mi Notebook Air (improved version) with an increase in the maximum volume peak of 5db. According to official data, these speakers should produce a high volume, with deep bass and ensure a more immersive experience thanks to Dolby Audio Virtual Sound technology.
We remind you that even the cheaper version to 500 € with Intel i5 and 4GB of RAM is still expandable up to 32GB of RAM. So with a small upgrade after purchase this would become one of the most interesting laptops on the market.
