Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 in Short Time Arrival?

Even with declining tablet sales, some manufacturers are still launching new models in the hope that users will be tempted to renew their older devices. Xiaomi, who deals mainly with smartphones, has so far produced two tablets: the first, the Mi Pad 1, equipped with Nvidia Tegra K1 processor and released in 2014, and the second, the Mi Pad 2, from the Intel processor, released in November of the 2015. However, it seems that the release of the Mi Pad 3 is imminent after that rumors they talked about a Xiaomi conference scheduled for yesterday, December 13.

To feed rumors of an imminent launch of a new Mi Pad model are the images of his presentation, leaked from a Chinese news site, KejiXun.com. It should be noted that there is no official press release from Xiaomi, so we must take the following with the benefit of the doubt.

The new Xiaomi tablet would be larger than the previous one, in fact it would be equipped with a retina screen, with a resolution of 2048 × 1536, from 9.7 ", instead of the 7.9" of the previous versions.

The body of the Mi Pad 3 would always be completely made of metal but would have a smaller thickness, measured in 6,08mm, even if it would weigh more (380gr): this is obviously due to the larger screen but also to the greater battery, which should be 8290mAh with QuickCharge 3.0 support. There would be a USB Type-C socket positioned at the bottom and flanked on both sides by the speaker grilles.

Xiaomi should have continued the partnership with Intel, using a 3th generation Core M processor (m7-30Y615) and an integrated Intel HD Graphics 8 GPU graphics card. The slide below would also show how the RAM could have received a massive increase up to 128GB, while two versions of memories would be available: one of 256 and another of 3GB. It is also said that the Mi Pad XNUMX will be equipped with a scanner for the detection of fingerprints.

Another interesting novelty concerning the probable Mi Pad 3 would be the camera: Xiaomi would have equipped its new tablet with a rear camera from 16MP with two tone flash and a front camera from 8MP for selfies and video calls.

The new Mi Pad should be launched with Windows 10 only and Cortana voice assistance software and MS Office suite should be pre-installed. It should also be possible to purchase an additional keyboard equipped with a dock to use the tablet as an ultrabook. In the presentation, however, no mention is made of an android version, although it is not excluded that in the probable future one may not be released, but the decision to launch the tablet supported only by Windows would highlight the recent partnership between Microsoft and Xiaomi.

The last image in the document refers to the likely price of the Mi Pad 3: it should start at ¥ 1999 (around $ 289) for the 128GB version and ¥ 2299 (around $ 333) for the 256GB version. The additional keyboard is expected to be priced at just ¥ 99 (around $ 14) instead.

Unfortunately Xiaomi has not yet managed to "produce" a valid and optimized MIUI for tablets and on balance Windows is an easy and already tested solution

I explained myself badly, I like win 10, but I don't understand why xiaomi doesn't make applications for Windows for its devices, that is, there is no mi fit, there is no remote and not even mi home. This thing is ridiculous.
